Creating the Ideal College Community

Securing Financial Resources

The Collegiate Ideal envisages Exeter as the epitome of Oxford colleges, embracing all the benefits of a collegiate system while also enhancing the academic and social opportunities for all students. We are committed to providing extensive student funding to ensure that all students can remain at Exeter for the duration of their degree and we believe that it is imperative that students are able to complete their course, no matter what financial hardships they or their parents may face during their time at Exeter.

Old Members, Parents and Friends who wish to help enhance Collegiate life by making a gift to support one or more of the following areas:

  • a comprehensive portfolio of guaranteed hardship bursaries

  • the funding of the Careers Office and internship bursaries
  • additional travel grants
  • accommodation grants to support students in residence for the whole year
  • funding for open days and the Schools Liaison Officer

Gifts can be made towards the funding in whole or in part of any of these projects which will enhance the wider life of the College ensuring that every member is able to fully benefit from their time at Exeter regardless of their own financial background.
