The "Third Quadrangle"

We are the owners at last. A full two years after we began negotiations, on 17 March we signed the contract for the purchase of the site of Ruskin College, on which we plan to build our Third Quad. Under the terms of the deal, we will not have vacant possession until the beginning of October 2012. That gives us time to understand exactly what we want from the site, and to select the best architect to deliver that.

We have been talking intensively to students, Fellows, staff and Old Members, to ask for their help with planning this tremendous opportunity, and we will continue to do so. As part of this effort, there were presentations and discussions in May in both Oxford and London. The feedback has been enormously helpful, and we welcome any comments and insights that you may wish to share with us.
