Gaudy for 1993-96 Matriculands

The Gaudy for 1993-96 Old Members took place in College on Saturday, 17th March 2007. The event was attended by 63 Old Members, some of whom brought their families to tea with the Rector in the afternoon. After tea some Old Members headed off to the JCR smoking room to watch the England/Wales rugby match, while others took the opportunity to walk around Oxford with their old College friends.

Dinner in main hall included a main course of grilled beef fillet with caramelised shallots and roasted sweet beetroot tart, cooked to perfection by our award-winning chef. And after dinner we were all entertained by Nick Campsie (1993), who gave a great after-dinner speech.

As an extra treat for the Gaudy attendees the College had a fire display in the front Quad. The display formed a part of the Luminox festival, which had been taking place on nearby Broad Street from 15th-17th March. Exeter has a connection with the festival through one of our Old Members, who is friends with the artist who ran the event.
