Physics Dinner
9th November 2007
The biannual Physics Alumni Dinner took place on Friday 9th November, midway through Michaelmas Term 2007. The Dinner was open to all Old Members who have read Physics or Physics and Philosophy at Exeter, and provided a great opportunity to meet and mix with former and present students as well as the tutors.
Professor Frank Close gave a popular talk titled "Human Space Exploration: Fact of Fiction?" in the Saskatchewan Room, followed by drinks in the Rector's Lodgings and a formal black tie dinner in Hall. This year's Physics Dinner enjoyed one of the largest Old Member turnouts in the history of the event and served to both strengthen links with Old Members and also encourage the present students.
If you have any pictures from the event, we would greatly appreciate your sending them to the Development Office!
