Medics Dinner

The annual Medical Society Dinner took place on Friday 23rd November, and all Old Members who read Medicine or Physiology, as well as current students and tutors, were invited. This event provided an excellent opportunity to reacquaint with old friends over drinks, hear the esteemed guest speaker, and meet the current Exeter students.

The guest speaker was Professor Parveen Kumar CBE, who is the immediate past-president of the BMA and was Non-Executive Director of the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). Furthermore, Professor Kumar is the co-author, with Michael Clarke, of the world-renowned textbook, Clinical Medicine.
