Exeter College hosted it's inaugural 700th Anniversary Lecture on Sunday 13th February 2011. Our guest of honour and speaker was Kofi Annan who spoke on " The Future of Africa: challenges and opportunities." This lecture, held in the Sheldonian Theatre, was free of charge and is the first of a series of intellectual celebrations being held by the College in the time leading to Exeter's 700th anniversary in 2014. It was open to all with a special invitation to Old Members, Parents and Friends of Exeter, and their guests.
