Email Forwarding

The Alumni Email Forwarding Service is available to all Oxford University alumni. The aim of this service is to provide you with an Oxford-based email address that will forward email to your current email account. In the future, if you change your personal email address, you need only tell Oxford's Alumni Email Forwarding Service to change the address to forward to. Your Oxford alumni email address will remain the same for all your friends to use and remember.

This is a free service for Oxford's alumni and includes anti-virus checking and spam scoring.

Your Oxford-based address will be in the form:
<firstname>.<lastname>@exeter.oxon.org (e.g. jo.smith@exeter.oxon.org)

For members of the service, all names, colleges and years of matriculation are searchable. There is, however, an ex-directory option for those who wish to remain private.

How to sign up for an Alumni Email Address

  • You will need your Oxford Alumni Card number. If you do not have an Oxford Alumni Card, please send your full name, address, college and matriculation year to alumnicard@ousoc.ox.ac.uk.
  • You will also need to set up a personal email account with a service provider of your choice so that the Oxford email forwarding service can forward your mail.
