Jonathan Wordsworth Scholarship

When Jonathan Wordsworth died in 2006 many Old Members contacted the Development Office to ask if something could be done in his memory. It was agreed that the creation of a Scholarship in English was an fitting way of remembering Jonathan and enabling many to make a gift in his memory. Many of Jonathan's former students made a gift in support of this campaign and created a £5,000 pa scholarship for a graduate student in English. The current Jonathan Wordsworth Scholar is Alison Fincher.
