The Old Bursary

The Old Bursary is used daily for the Fellows' lunch, and backs on to the Fellows' Garden.

The beautiful views make it an ideal location for dinners and has room for up to 20 people.

The Benefactors' Gallery

The Benefactors' Gallery

Our striking Benefactors' Gallery overlooks the Hall and allows the grand venue to be enjoyed in a more intimate setting.

The Benefactors' Gallery is suitable for small and private parties of up to 14 people.

Rector's Dining Room, Drawing Room and Garden

The main reception rooms in the Rector's Lodgings may be made available on certain occasions by special arrangement.

The William Morris decorated Rector's Dining Room is a warm setting for up to fourteen people and the Rector's Drawing Room is perfect for receptions.

In the summer, the beautiful Rector's Garden, which backs onto the Sheldonian Theatre and borders the Victorian high-Gothic college library is available to groups on request, weather permitting.

The Fellows' Garden

The Fellows' Garden provides a haven of quiet in which to relax and breathe in the sense of history which pervades the College. During the summer months receptions may be held on the lawn, with the proviso that another facility must be booked at the same time in case of inclement weather. Marquees can be arranged in advance through the Conference Manager.

The College Bar

The College bar in the seventeenth-century Undercroft beneath the Dining Hall is available for pre-dinner drinks receptions and post-dinner drinks parties.

Cold Buffets

In addition to the above, cold buffets may also be held in the Stapeldon and Quarrell Rooms.
