The Course

The course allows students to gain both a broad understanding of the major topics and a detailed knowledge of specialist subjects within Economics and Management. For the Preliminary Examination, taken at the end of the first year, papers are taken in Introductory Economics, General Management and in Financial Management.

For the Final Examination students are required to sit eight papers: compulsory Economics papers (Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Quantitative Methods) and optional papers chosen from a wide ranging list, at least two of which must be chosen from the Management list, which includes Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Strategy and Organisational Behaviour.
