The Course
The course allows students to gain both a broad understanding of the major topics and a detailed knowledge of specialist subjects within Economics and Management. For the Preliminary Examination, taken at the end of the first year, papers are taken in Introductory Economics, Introductory Management and in Statistics.
For the Final Examination students are required to sit eight papers: compulsory Economics papers (Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Quantitative Methods) and optional papers chosen from a wideranging list, at least two of which must be chosen from the Management list, which includes Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Strategy and Organisational Behaviour.
