Emergencies requiring First Aid should be notified as soon as possible to the Lodge or to the appropriate Hostel Warden. Emergency Medical boxes are kept at College in the Lodge, the Kitchen and the Academic Office, and at Exeter House and Stapeldon House. In medical emergencies when First Aid is not adequate arrangements will be made by the Duty Porter to transport the patient to hospital.
If you want advice about sexual health, there is a drop in service, operating out of The Rectory Medical Centre, Rectory Rd, OX4 1BU in East Oxford. You can just turn up if you have any queries, or ring on 01865 226969.
The Sexual Harassment and Violence Support Service is an all-in-one provision for any students regardless of age or gender who have been affected by sexual harassment or violence. They provide free support and advice, along with a safe place to be heard independent of your college or department.
If you are feeling unwell, but it is not an emergency, please dial 111. If you’re unsure about what constitutes an emergency, please see the NHS England website.
Junior Members confined to their rooms by illness must ensure that a message to that effect is conveyed as soon as possible to the Lodge for the college nurse who will visit students in their room if required. Meals can be supplied in rooms in college if necessary.
