Exeter alumni recognised with New Year Honours

Congratulations to Exeter alumni Peter Mann (1971, English) and Professor Kathleen Stock (1991, Philosophy and Modern Languages) on being recognised in the New Year Honours.

Peter Mann, chairman of the Hong Kong Branch of the Royal Commonwealth Society, formerly police inspector and civil servant during Hong Kong’s years as a British colony, was awarded an MBE for services to the Commonwealth Community in Hong Kong and Asia.

Professor Stock is a professor of philosophy at the University of Sussex. She was awarded an OBE for services to Higher Education.
