The second novel by Exeter’s Dr Julie Maxwell, Fellow in English, was released in paperback last week. These Are Our Children was publised in paperback by Quercus Books on 6 March.
One in five confirmed pregnancies end in miscarriage. One in ten babies will spend time in a neonatal unit. These sensitive subjects form the heart of Julie Maxwell’s novel.
