Honorary Fellow awarded Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship

Professor Surya P. Subedi, OBE, KC, an Honorary Fellow of Exeter College, has been awarded a Major Research Fellowship by the Leverhulme Trust. The three-year fellowship will support his work on a project examining the contribution of the Global South to the development of human rights. 

Professor Subedi is Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds. He is also a member of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Institut de Droit International, an international body of leading lawyers. He has served as the UN Special Rapporteur for human rights in Cambodia and has held advisory roles in the field of international law and human rights.
