Open Days

Open Days present a chance for prospective undergraduate applicants to look around Exeter College, hear a tutor’s perspective on studying at Exeter, and to meet current undergraduates.

Open Days are excellent opportunities to ask lots of questions about academic and non-academic life as an Exeter College student, and to visit our beautiful grounds in the centre of Oxford

Our next Open Day will be held in 2024 and will form part of the University of Oxford Open Days.

Other Visits

The Open Days are an ideal time to visit Oxford, but our Access and Outreach team also welcomes groups of prospective applicants to Exeter College at other times of the year. For further information see the information for teachers and schools.

If you prefer to visit at another time, you are very welcome to visit and look around the College by yourself or with friends or family. Exeter College is almost always open to prospective students, for free. Just tell the Porters at our Turl Street entrance or the reception staff at Cohen Quad that you are considering applying to Exeter College and they will let you in.

The porters can provide a map and information sheet for our Turl Street site and direct you to areas of interest such as the garden and College library, the chapel or the hall.

Please aim to visit between 9 am and 4 pm. Occasionally the College may be closed for a special event or access to some areas may be restricted, so we recommend phoning the porters on 01865 279600 or emailing them on lodge@exeter.ox.ac.uk before your visit.
