On Saturday 16 September over 100 alumni who matriculated between 2005 and 2009 came back to Exeter to enjoy their Gaudy. Former Rector Dame Frances Cairncross was also able to attend the occasion, much to the delight of all.
Afternoon tea was a popular element of the day, providing an opportunity to catch up informally before guests attended Evensong or took a walk down memory lane in one of the local cafes or pubs.
Rector Professor Sir Rick Trainor spoke about Cohen Quad’s immediate impact on Exeter College life and Dame Frances gave a short and very well received speech, reminiscing about her time in Oxford with the evening’s guests.
The evening continued in the Undercroft bar, with many staff delighted to see the fresh faces of recent graduates back in College again.
