Alumnus Ann-Chai Wong wins award for water filtration

Exeter alumnus Brigadier General Ann-Chai Wong (1986, Engineering) has won the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Technology Innovation Award in Water Filtration with his company NanoSun.

The Asia Pacific Excellence Awards Program acknowledges companies that excel in their business segment and their efforts to improve industry as a whole.

NanoSun was recognised for its dedication to improving the quality and functionality of its membrane filtration technology that has enabled NanoSun to solve key challenges in the water filtration industry. NanoSun has developed innovative 3D nano-composite membrane filtration technology that lowers operation and maintenance costs of water filtration while also proving instrumental in enhancing water security across the Asia-Pacific region.
