Alumnus Paul Paynter is awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal

Alumnus Paul Paynter (1981, PPE) has recently been granted the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for services to the community. The medal was awarded as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations by the Government of Alberta, Canada.

Canada introduced the medal last year to mark Queen Elizabeth’s seventieth year on the throne. Paynter received the distinguished prize for his business and volunteering services to the community. Recipients must have a tangible link to Alberta, and have made a significant contribution to Canada, Alberta, or a particular Alberta community.

Exeter College warmly congratulates Paul on this exceptional achievement!
