Alumnus translates L’any en estampes

Exeter alumnus Ronald James Cooper (1961, Mathematics) has translated L’any en estampes – The Year in Images – by Marià Villangómez Llobet.

The classic description of the yearly round in the early 1950s on Ibiza by Marià Villangómez Llobet, L’any en estampes, has now been translated into English by Dr Cooper for the Anglo-Catalan Society Occasional Publications, with the collaboration of the Institut d’Estudis Eivissencs.

The edition is in bilingual form, with a new introduction for the English reader. It is available for reading online or free download from their web pages. You can view the PDF of the translation here.
