Andy Thomas (1997, PPE) publishes Resounding Body: Building Christlike Church Communities Through Music

Andy Thomas’s (1997, PPE) new book, Resounding Body: Building Christlike Church Communities Through Music, is the first detailed attempt to frame the purpose of church music in terms of St Paul’s metaphor of the ‘body of Christ’. Thomas describes how music leaders can help to build living Christlike communities in their churches, focusing on the many contexts where resources are limited. By combining theological reflection with practical advice, Thomas encourages music leaders to focus their energy on building vibrant communities, as well as producing music.
