Graduate Scholarships

Exeter College is pleased to be able to offer a number of scholarships for graduate study.

For candidates who are starting their degree in the 2023-2024 academic year, Exeter College offers the scholarships listed below. Some of these may be held in conjunction with other scholarships or studentships, for example those awarded by the University of Oxford (e.g. Clarendon Scholarships), or by the UK Research Councils (UKRI).

Unless otherwise stated in the further particulars of a scholarship, we will consider all eligible applicants to Oxford for our College scholarships regardless of whether or not you state Exeter College as your preferred College on your application form. If we offer you an Exeter College scholarship we will also offer you a place at Exeter College, which will take the place of any earlier College offer you may have. Therefore, unless otherwise stated, there is no separate application process for these scholarships; you simply need to apply for your graduate course by the relevant January deadline. Candidates who are not contacted by Exeter College regarding the award of a Graduate Scholarship can assume that, unfortunately, they have not been successful. However, many of our students are successfully awarded other scholarships, or fund their studies privately.

For details regarding Academic Grants for current students, see the Grants for Graduate Students page.
