Rooms of a variety of sizes are available, including studios, en-suite bedrooms, bedrooms with shared facilities, and those for students who have a partner and/or family. Exeter House also offers two spacious common rooms (with a TV, piano and IT facilities), laundry machines and sheltered bike racks.
In addition to housing facilities, Exeter House provides a year-round social hub for graduate students at Exeter. Residents often organize events such as BBQs, parties, and movie and games nights, all of which are also open to members of Exeter’s graduate community living elsewhere. Exeter House provides self-catering kitchens, and the flats include communal areas where residents can gather and eat meals together. Students may also choose to eat in the dining hall at Exeter’s Turl Street site in the city centre, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays and brunch and dinner on weekends during the main academic periods (known as Full Term). Meals are also available during term time at the Undercroft at the college’s Turl Street site and at the Dakota Café at Cohen Quad.
