Co-founder of Twitter Biz Stone returns to Exeter College

On Sunday 4 March, Exeter College was delighted to welcome Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, once again as he talked to Rector Professor Sir Rick Trainor in front of an audience of students, staff and alumni. Biz Stone co-founded social media website Twitter – one of the 10 most popular websites in the world – in 2006 and stood down from the company in 2011. In 2017 he returned to “guide the company culture” and to fill what he described as “the Biz-shaped hole”. During the talk Biz looked back at his experiences at Twitter since his return and considered what lies ahead for the firm.
