David Vaisey (1956, History) made Distinguished Friend of Oxford

David Vaisey (1956, History) has been made a Distinguished Friend of Oxford in recognition of his support of the Bodleian Library.

The DFO scheme was initiated in 1996 as a way to recognise formally individuals who have acted as exceptional volunteers for the benefit of the University of Oxford or its colleges or departments.

In 2013 the University will be making 14 DFO awards.
