Dr Jason Carter, Fellow in Ancient Philosophy, to publish ‘How Aristotle Changes Anaxagoras’s Mind’
The latest article by Dr Jason Carter, Fellow in Ancient Philosophy, is now available to read online. ‘How Aristotle Changes Anaxagoras’s Mind’ is forthcoming in the journal Apeiron: A Journal for Ancient Philosophy and Science, and is available to preview online by clicking here.
Dr Carter has also agreed the publication of his book, Aristotle on Earlier Greek Psychology: The Science of Soul, with Cambridge University Press. The work offers a comprehensive analysis and interpretation of Aristotle’s criticisms of earlier Presocratic and Platonic theories of soul, and argues that these criticisms offer essential insight into Aristotle’s exegetical practice, his philosophy of science, and the development of his hylomorphic psychology. A publication date is yet to be announced.
