Exeter alumni release a cappella charity single
Exeter alumni Will Pargeter (2012, Engineering) and Anjali Joseph (2010, History) have released a recording of I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday with their a cappella group AfterParty to raise money for charity this Christmas.
Originally released by pop group Wizzard in the 1970s, AfterParty recorded the Christmas classic in and around Gothenburg, Sweden, and during the Covent Garden Christmas Lights Switch On. The entire track is produced using only the group’s voices.
The project is in aid of the SMILE children’s charities: The Starlight Foundation, Tommy’s, and The Honeypot Children’s Charity. All proceeds from download payments go straight to these causes.
