Exeter alumni spark new ideas
Three of Exeter’s leading entrepreneurs shared their secrets and stresses at this year’s Exepreneurs event, generously hosted by Tracy Coghill (1990, Jurisprudence) at City Asset Management.
Jonathan Gittos (1986, English), Jean Kitson (1992, English) and Ravi Takhar (1984, Jurisprudence) took us into their worlds as they shared their insights into their motivations for start-up success. From feeling that “the top of my head was going to blow off” to sneaking a quiet moment in a Soho church when a major deal had fallen through, this was a panel discussion that celebrated frank honesty in the pros and cons of running your own business and staying motivated.
Tracy commented, “It’s such a pleasure to host Exepreneurs and the panel discussion format sparked many conversations over drinks. I heard at least one new creative idea being discussed so here’s to its future success!”
