Exeter holds inaugural event for entrepreneurs

On 26 September the College held its inaugural event for entrepreneurs at City Asset Management, Old Street.

Garrett Johnson (2005, Migration Studies), Ash Rust (2006, Computer Science), Tom Weiss (1991, Physics), and Matthew Green (2001, Modern History) described their entrepreneurial careers to a 50-strong audience of Exonians.

From business phone systems to big data to London walking tours, the presentations were frank and absorbing. They were followed by a lively audience Q+A and networking until late.

Our thanks to Tracy Coghill (1990, Jurisprudence) for hosting the event, and to Roger Munnings (1969, PPE), who acted as the evening’s facilitator.

We hope to hold another event to celebrate Exonian entrepreneurship in 2014.
