Exeter raises over £8.4m in 2012-13

The generosity of alumni was overwhelming in the 2012-13 financial year, which ended on 31 July.

A staggering £8.4m was given to support Exeter including two gifts of £1.2m from William Jackson (1983, Geography) and Peter Thompson (Friend) to endow in perpetuity fellowships in History and English respectively.

The College also received a gift of £1m to endow a student support fund and many significant gifts to fund the development of Walton Street.
