Exeter students competing in the Boat Race

Three Exeter students have been selected to compete for Oxford in this year’s Boat Race which will take place on Saturday 11th April.

Lauren Kedar (Earth Sciences, 2013) will race in the Women’s Blue Boat taking place for the first time on the same day and the same course as the men’s race. Jowita Mieskowska (Jurisprudence, 2013) has been selected by the Oxford University Women’s Lightweight Rowing Club as a member of the ‘spare pair’.

In the men’s race Exonian Morgan Gerlak (MSc Economic and Social History) will be competing in the men’s reserve boat.

The Newton Women’s Boat Race will start at 4.50pm ahead of the BNY Mellon Boat Race at 5.50pm. Both races will be live on BBC1.
