Exeter takes possession of the new Walton Street site

Exeter College has now officially taken ownership of its Walton Street premises – the former site of Ruskin College.

Rector Frances Cairncross collected the keys on Monday 1 October.

The new site is being financed by a fundraising campaign in the period leading up to Exeter College’s 700th anniversary in 2014.

The College, advised by Malcolm Reading Consultants and others, will now work with the Alison Brooks Architects to develop the design of the site, emphasising the need to respect the qualities of the site and its surroundings.
