Exeter welcomes Dr Rowan Williams

Exeter welcomed the Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dr Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury, at its most recent 700th Anniversary Lecture on 21 February.

Dr Williams addressed students, alumni, Fellows and staff in the University Church of St Mary the Virgin before being welcomed for afternoon tea in Exeter College hall.

Dr Williams spoke on the subject of “Secular Churches and Holy Societies”.
