Exeter wins University fundraising prizes

Exeter College has won two inter-collegiate prizes awarded by the University of Oxford’s Student Challenge Fund in recognition of its outstanding fundraising.

Exeter received a prize for having the highest participation rate among its Finalists in 2012, around 95% of whom gave to the College last year. The Student Challenge Fund committee awarding the prize also felt that the innovation that Exeter showed in reaching its fundraising targets deserved special praise, and so awarded an innovation prize as well.
Exeter will receive £1,621.22 in matched funds, reflecting the money raised by gifts from Finalists. A further £1,000 innovation prize will also be given to the College.
