Exeter’s Librarian has research paper published by the British Museum

Joanna Bowring, Exeter College’s Librarian, has had a research paper published by the British Museum. Chronology of Temporary Exhibitions at the British Museum lists the many hundreds of temporary exhibitions at the British Museum between 1838 and 2012. It includes the full range, from early displays of material in a few dedicated cases documented by a slim handlist of objects, to large-scale exhibitions accompanied by fully-illustrated catalogues. The paper is illustrated by images from the Museum’s poster archive.
