Exeter’s wine steward coaches Oxford to varsity glory

Exeter College’s wine steward, Hanneke Wilson, has helped the University of Oxford overcome rivals Cambridge in the Oxford and Cambridge Varsity Blind Wine-Tasting Competition. Participants had to identify 12 unmarked wines by grape, country of origin, region, subregion, vintage and taste characteristics.

You can read about the competition and this year’s wines on the New York Times website.
