Exonian alumni choir to launch this month

Exeter is excited to announce the launch of its new alumni choir – The Exonian Choir – on Saturday 19 November.

The project is a new London-based initiative with the aim of connecting the College’s musical alumni and producing a similar standard of music-making that so many enjoyed in the College’s prestigious Chapel Choir.

The group is made up of many former Chapel Choir members, ranging from those who have just left College right back to singers from the old men’s-voice choir in the 1960s and 1970s.

Masterminded by former Organ Scholar Tim Muggeridge (2013, Music), The Exonian Choir is planning a Grand Launch Concert at the Church of St Magnus the Martyr in London on Saturday 19 November at 7pm with music by Brahms, Bruckner, Parry and Stanford. All are very welcome to attend, particularly College alumni, and admission is free.

If you are interested in supporting the choir either musically, morally, or financially then please do get in touch with Tim (timothymuggeridge@gmail.com).
