Exonian writes Doctor Who audio book

Matthew Fitton (1988, Classics and English) has written a Doctor Who story, the audio book of which will be released in November.

Doctor Who: The Time Machine (Destiny of the Doctor) is part of a collection of BBC audio books being released to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Doctor’s creation. The “Destiny of the Doctor” commemorative series comprises 11 stories, one for each of the 11 incarnations of the Doctor. The Time Machine features the 11th Doctor, as played by Matt Smith. It is read by Jenna Coleman, who plays the Doctor’s companion Clara in the current TV series.

The story is set in Oxford, in and around the Bodleian Library, which is also where Mr Fitton wrote the majority of the story.
