Exonians prepare for summit of Kilimanjaro

On Thursday 3 October, Exeter’s hardy team of 17 Exonians will rise at 2am and tackle the final stretch of their Kilimanjaro climb to Uhuru Peak, at 19,341 feet.

They aim to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro shortly after dawn and will unfurl the College banner on the roof of Africa!

This will be an incredibly tough day, with the danger of acute mountain sickness linked to the altitude. We are rooting for the team and hope that they all manage to reach the summit.

Your thoughts and support will make an enormous difference to the climbers as they attempt this final leg of the ascent, so please sponsor a climber here. Every gift will be directed towards the College’s Annual Fund.

Thank you and Floreat Exon!
