Felix Jaeger (2020, Magister Juris) wins law essay prize

Exeter postgraduate student Felix Jaeger has won the 2021 Oxford Business Law Blog Essay Competition on ‘Business Law and the Transition to a Net Zero Carbon Economy’.

The competition was open to graduate students of the Faculties of Law of Oxford University, Hamburg University, Freie Universität Berlin and the National University of Singapore on the occasion of the fifth Annual Conference of the Oxford Business Law Blog. Mr Jaeger’s essay, entitled Say No to Climate Change, Say Yes to ‘Say on Climate’, explored how initiatives such as the ‘Say on Climate’ campaign encourages companies to take responsibility for transitioning to a net zero carbon economy.

Mr Jaeger is also a corporate lawyer in Hamburg, Germany. Having completed his studies, he has been awarded a distinction and hopes to formally graduate in November.
