Garden Parties Galore

On 31st May 2014 Exeter College opened its doors to over 200 alumni and guests with a day of parties and festivities.

The day started at 10am with Families in the Fellows’ Garden, a new event designed to offer alumni the chance to give their families a glimpse of Exeter life. Exeter’s Student Led charity, ExVac, organised games of hide-and-seek, and “Juggling John” Hayns wowed families with his magic tricks and juggling skills.

Next up, members of the College’s 1314 Society gathered in the Rector’s Garden for the annual society luncheon.

Finally, the afternoon saw the Rector’s Lodgings open again for a lively group of the College’s Young Alumni. Emily Watson (Development Manager) introduced all present to the exciting new ‘700 for 700’ campaign, designed to take Exeter to a 50% alumni giving rate this year.
