Joseph Nye (1958, PPE) publishes Presidential Leadership and the Creation of the American Era

Professor Joseph Nye (1958, PPE) has published his latest book, Presidential Leadership and the Creation of the American Era.

The book examines the foreign policy decisions of the presidents who presided over the most critical phases of America’s rise to world primacy in the 20th century, and assesses the effectiveness and ethics of their choices.

Professor Nye has been ranked as one of Foreign Policy magazine’s 100 Top Global Thinkers and was formerly Dean of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
