The College Nurse and Welfare Officer is Helen Thornton. She deals with minor illness, minor injury, dressings, help navigating the NHS, when/how to see a GP or general health queries. Helen has been a nurse since 2002 and has a background in emergency nursing and urgent care. She is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) www.nmc.org.uk and has been working at Exeter College since 2016. Helen works in conjunction with 19 Beaumont Street Surgery, the general practitioner (GP) for Exeter College
