Professor Walker is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Oxford, where she leads a research group in the brain processes that allow humans and other animals to understand sounds. She holds a grant from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC). She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Mathematics (BSc Hon., Memorial University), an MSc in Neuroscience (Dalhousie University), and her DPhil in Physiology (Brasenose College, University of Oxford).
