Dr Payne is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, researching the therapeutic targeting of chemokine networks that regulate immune-cell trafficking in type 1 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences (MSci Hons., Newcastle University) and her DPhil in Medical Sciences (Keble College, University of Oxford).
