Polly Findlay is an award‑winning theatre and screen director. Theatre credits include eight productions for the National Theatre and four for the Royal Shakespeare Company, where she is an associate artist. Polly has also directed extensively across the UK, with a number of productions at the Donmar Warehouse, the Almeida Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, The Royal Exchange Manchester and at the Sheffield Crucible. She has worked internationally, directing large-scale productions in Germany and Denmark, and is also the director of three Grayson Perry shows touring nationally.  She recently completed her debut feature, Midwinter Break, for Film4 and Focus Features. Polly is a joint Olivier Award winner for Derren Brown: Svengali, and a JMK Award winner.

Findlay was elected an Honorary Fellow of Exeter College in 2023.
