Professor Faramerz Noshir Dabhoiwala, BA York, MA DPhil Oxf

Professor Faramerz Dabhoiwala (1969-) was the Official Fellow and Lecturer in Modern History at Exeter College from 1998 until 2016. His research interests focus on the social and intellectual history of the English speaking world from the 16th to 18th centuries. In 2012 he published a book on society’s attitudes to sex from the 17th to 19th centuries, entitled ‘The Origins of Sex: A History of the First Sexual Revolution’.
