Professor Faramerz Noshir Dabhoiwala, BA York, MA DPhil Oxf
Professor Faramerz Dabhoiwala (1969-) was the Official Fellow and Lecturer in Modern History at Exeter College from 1998 until 2016. His research interests focus on the social and intellectual history of the English-speaking world from the 16th to 18th centuries. In 2012 he published a book on society’s attitudes to sex from the 17th to 19th centuries, entitled ‘The Origins of Sex: A History of the First Sexual Revolution’.
