Hi! I am a Departmental Lecturer in Feminist Philosophy at Oxford.

While I work on a range of topics, I am particularly interested in freedom of speech and feminist ethics. Right now I am excited to be working on three articles. The first article considers whether censorship is insulting or else involves some kind of disrespect on the part of the government towards its citizens. The second article considers whether hate speech regulation is viewpoint discriminatory, and the extent to which this might tell against engaging in such regulation. The third article discusses what is sometimes referred to as the ‘relational-feminist approach to autonomy’. The article considers the implications that embracing this approach has for freedom of speech debates.

Outside of philosophy, I enjoy powerlifting, reading, and doting on a frankly ambivalent cat.
