Stephen Green, the Rt Hon Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint, MSc MIT, MA Oxf
Lord Green is a Conservative peer in the British House of Lords; former Chairman of HSBC Holdings PLC, and an Anglican priest. After starting his career in overseas development, he worked for McKinsey & Co, before joining HSBC. From 2011 to 2013 he served as Minister of State jointly between the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and the Foreign Office, with responsibility for trade and investment. Within the House of Lords, he now sits on the European Union Committee.
He read PPE at Exeter College and was made an Honorary Fellow of the College in 2009.
