Peter Miéville (1971, English) to create “Mischief”

Peter Miéville (1971, English) will direct his new play, Mischief, later this year.

Mischief is the story of an internationally celebrated actor who struggles with his failing powers. Out of a mischievous memory, he reconnects with his past and his estranged daughter and, via his love of Dickens and Shakespeare, discovers the magical ingredients of his greatest part and how he made it his own, against the odds.

The play is serious and comic; a passionate, intimate and poignant reflection on acting, destiny and identity. It contains original music and dance.

The first read-through for Mischief will be at the beautiful Wilton’s Hall in London, Thursday 8 May 2014 between 11am and 3pm, assisted by Jessica Palmarozza (2010, English). For more information, contact Peter on dmprods@yahoo.co.uk or to read about Wilton’s Hall click here.
